Ladybirds Barbershop Harmony Singers

Americorps

Posted in Performances on Monday, April 10, 2006

The Americorps group of young people enjoyed the Ladybirds performance so much last year that they invited the chorus again for their graduation dinner. The venue was the Frostburg Senior Center. The audience of more than 250 people was so enthusiastic that it inspired the Ladybirds to sing at their best. The agenda called for the Ladybirds to sing the blessing before the meal and just a couple more tunes after the meal. The song, Daddy Sang Bass brought the house down as the audience was clapping and hooting and hyping everyone up with their unbounded enthusiasm.

The program honored the graduates of the American Hall Stars and presented certificates of completion of their training, as well as other gifts (backpacks, etc.) for their devotion to the task of volunteer work in their local area.
