On May 20, 2006, the Ladybirds sang for the South Businessmen’s Fun Festival held at Smith Park. The day was beautiful and sunny, but the wind was fierce. Other entertainers had it harder than the Ladybirds, though, as they had to deal with instruments and sheet music, etc. At least the Ladybirds have no extra “baggage” to worry about. The wind did cause their sound to dissipate quickly, though. Members of the audience complimented the singers for a job well done.
