Music, Music, Music
On May 25th the Ladybirds Barbershop Harmony Singers performed for a group of senior citizens at the Cumberland Arms Apartments. This was a new venue for most of the group, and everyone was excited to be invited to that location, as two of the members live there.

The audience was very receptive and participated in a sing along, which was held midway through the program. Volunteers from the audience even came up front and helped sing Old MacDonald Had A Farm. They were all very good sports!
The chorus sang a variety of songs that would appeal to their audience, including:
- Daddy Sang Bass
- Music, Music, Music
- We Sing Our Hearts Out
- Heart Of My Heart
- Let Me Call You Sweetheart
The Afternoon Delight quartet sang their signature song, Grandma’s Feather Bed. Folks always enjoy that one!

Residents of Cumberland Arms
Complimentary comments from people in the audience and the applause that barbershoppers love to hear ensures that the Ladybirds will be making a return trip to the Cumberland Arms in the not-too-distant future.
