Summer is the usual time for church choirs to take a vacation; thus, a number of churches have invited the Ladybirds and other groups to perform special music for their Sunday worship services. This summer has been no exception, and we have provided music for Park Place United Methodist Church and Frostburg United Methodist Church in the last several weeks. We still have on our agenda Central United Methodist Church and Frostburg Presbyterian Church.

The Ladybirds provide special music
at Frostburg United Methodist Church

Afternoon Delight provided special music for Grace United Methodist Church in Midland. Two popular quartets (Afternoon Delight and Three Katz and a Mouse) combined to entertain for a 60th birthday party in Fort Ashby, West Virginia in late July.

The Ladybirds chorus are scheduled to entertain for a state-wide dinner for the Eastern Star on September 30. The theme of the music will be music of the Fifties, and the group is preparing a fabulous program for the event.
