A patriotic show at Constitution Park was very somber as crowds of people came to express their grief over the attack on September 11, 2001 in which thousands of people were killed. Shortly after that tragedy, the Ladybirds performed patriotic songs on a CD called A New America. Everyone was pulling together, praying, singing patriotic songs, and helping the victims and survivors of those who lost their lives in that tragic terrorist attack.

Then a presentation by the Ladybirds Barbershop Harmony Singers, under the direction of Shirley Carson, was featured.
